Our bay and bow frames are custom sized to your specifications and can adapt to almost any type of Duck Windows replacement window. Frames are available in bay, box-bay, and 3, 4, 5, or 6 lite bow configurations. Each unit can be made with a desired projection, therefore making each one completely unique. Designed to be both beautiful and functional, Duck Windows bay and bow windows are the perfect addition to any home.
Standard Frame Features
- 1. 1” hardwood cabinet-grade veneer head and seat board
available in select white - 3/4” #1 Eastern White Pine struts allow for unlimited
angles from 0 to 55 degrees - 3/4” #1 Eastern White Pine end jambs (has secondary
cover to hide unsightly installation nails and screws) - Two interior finishes – all wood or vinyl mullions, end
fillers, and stops - Sill has a unique weep system (See below)
- Maintenance-free vinyl clad exterior – available in white
or beige - 1/4” all-threaded steel rods between struts tie head and
seat boards together for added strength - Low pressure polyurethane foam sealant
between struts

We offer several items that can be added to bay and bow window frames to increase their performance and beauty.
The custom-sized, Hip Roof Package helps insulate the top exterior of the unit and gives it a finished appearance.
- Standard pitch is “7/12” with a 3” overhang (custom pitch is also available)
- Base, back wall, and sheathing are constructed with 7/16” OSB (Oriented
Strand Board) with 1 x 2 perimeter blocking and 2 x 2 rafters Standing Seam Roof Cladding Available as an add-on option to the custom hip roof package. - 40 Kynar Painted Aluminum and 20 oz. Real Copper
- 31 Colors to choose from
- Pre-bent and fit panels make installation a breeze
The custom-sized, Insulated Seat Board Package is perfect for finishing and insulating the bottom exterior of the unit. - 10 mill vinyl laminate applied over 1/2” exterior fir plywood and 1” foam insulation
- Vinyl extruded cap for coverage of edge to wall and nails for assembly

Interior Casing & Edge Banding
Available in oak or pine, the 3 1/2” casing finishes the frame’s interior
Edge banding easily eliminates the exposed plywood edge on head and
seat boards
